REGENESIS AT ANGSTROM LIGHTING
PUTS SPOTLIGHT ON NEW PRODUCTS, NEW ALLIANCES AND NEW VISION
Hollywood, CA – January
31, 2005 – One of Hollywood’s pre-eminent lighting
companies has been revitalized and redirected into a lighting supplier
offering an even broader range of products and services than it
ever has, since opening its doors 28 years ago.
“We call it a regenesis,” enthused Frans
Klinkenberg, President & CEO and one of the company’s
original founders. “We’ve taken everything that has
made us such as important resource for event planners, theatres,
schools and churches and made it even more vital.” From steadfast
conventional lighting to intelligent systems and control to the
pioneering technology of Selecon equipment to the revolutionary
world of LED Lighting and Color Kinetics, Angstrom has the inventory
that allows clients to explore their creativity.
Long recognized for satisfying a wide range of clients,
Angstrom has made a number of important strategic decisions aimed
at strengthening its scope of capabilities and range of innovative
products. One of the highlights is the strategic alliance with industry
luminary, Mark Rowlands. “Our affiliation with Mark gives
us even greater organizational strength and his presence adds a
level of expertise unequaled in the industry,” Klinkenberg
states. “He has also brought an extensive inventory of intelligent
lighting, Whole Hog consoles and a broad range of special effects.”
Besides his affiliation with Angstrom and various other projects,
Mark currently manages LightBroker.com and BlimpScreen.com.
Angstrom has also teamed with esteemed architectural
and theatrical lighting designer, Michael Zinman. Klinkenberg says,
“Our relationship with Mike now enables us to offer our clients
professional design services for their corporate events and other
gatherings, church services and installations.” Well-known
for his lighting software program, AutoBLOCK 2000, and his design
work at the Pasadena Playhouse, Shakespeare Theatre, Luckman Fine
Arts Center and Carnegie Hall, to name a few, Mr. Zinman has also
achieved success in the architectural world, designing for such
projects as the Hollywood Wax Museum, The Calvary Lutheran Church
and the Day After Nightclub.
While Angstrom has undergone a regenesis in many
areas, one thing that won’t be changing is the company’s
uncompromising commitment to customer satisfaction. With a dedicated
staff, most of whom have been with the company for over 10 years,
the level and quality of service will continue to be unsurpassed.
Angstrom Lighting is a full-service lighting and
special effects supplier serving the entertainment industry since
1977. The company rents, sells and services lighting equipment for
corporate and special events, theatre, trade shows, schools, churches,
architectural applications and film. The company also offers production
design, installation and consultation services and has collaborated
with such noted clients as the Hollywood Bowl, Disney Hall, Fox
Television, the NFL and the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
