Angstrom University Ready to Shine Again
Expanded Curriculum Features Most Popular Classes
and New Topics of Instruction
Hollywood, CA - September 25, 2006 - Angstrom Lighting
announced today that the Angstrom University Fall/Spring session
begins on October 7, 2006. The only program of its kind on the West
Coast, this year's curriculum expands upon the success of Angstrom
University in 2005. With more than 20 new courses, all-day workshops
and hands-on participation, Angstrom Lighting continues with its
mission to educate lighting professionals with training from industry
leaders and experts. Classes take place on most Saturdays between
October 7, 2006 and April 28, 2007.
Angstrom University classes are available for all
levels of lighting enthusiast - from the novice to the experienced
professional. Instructors are industry experts who are currently
active in their area of instruction. All classes feature both lecture
instruction and hands-on workshops that enable students to actively
participate in their education. Subjects cover a broad range of
professional development, including:
- Congo, Vista, Expression and Wholehog programming
- Theatrical, dance, concert and television lighting design
- Special effects, fabric and drapery
- Automated fixtures
- Live audio
- Rigging
- Large-scale projection
- Business development
