Line 204 Acquires Angstrom Lighting:

Since we began Angstrom Lighting in 1977, we've seen our share of changes, big and small. Well, it's time for another change—a big one—and we couldn't be more excited!

On September 14, 2010, Line 204  officially acquired Angstrom Lighting. We are now part of the Line 204 family.

Founded in 1997, Line 204 is "L.A.'s Ultimate One Stop Shop" for production and event services, studio space and supplies. It's one of the largest production services companies in Los Angeles, with headquarters in Hollywood and additional facilities in Sylmar. Under the vision of founder and president Alton Butler  has developed into a suite of companies providing commercial production and event services throughout Southern California.

Line 204 can now add Angstrom Lighting's sales, rentals, repair, design and education to the wide range of products and services it offers.

Now, if you're one of the many people we've enjoyed doing business with in the past, if you're one of the many wonderful customers who have helped make Angstrom such a success, you may be wondering: What does Line 204's acquisition of Angstrom Lighting mean for you?

It means this: You will continue to receive the same excellent service, expertise and extensive product line you've come to expect from Angstrom. We will continue to sell and rent lighting equipment at competitive prices and rates. We will continue to offer lighting repair services, both in-house and out in the field. We will continue to offer classes for both lighting professionals and people who don't know a thing about lighting. We will continue to add new products to our online store at www.angstromlighting.com/store. And we will continue to provide all of this under the Angstrom Lighting banner.

In other words, all the things you like about Angstrom Lighting will still be here. We're not going anywhere. We're even staying in the same building, at 837 N. Cahuenga Blvd.

So then what will change? Well, we can't give you any specifics at the moment—what we can tell you is this: Things will only get better. With our combined expertise and resources, Line 204 and Angstrom Lighting will be working hard in the next several months to come up with all kinds of ways to make our happy customers even happier.
